FHF-VAWA and Domestic Violence 2022

This course examines the rights of victims of domestic violence in housing and the best practices housing providers should follow to protect their residents while also looking after the best interests of their community.  We review local laws and crime free ordinances, which properties are covered by VAWA rights, how those rights relate to landlord tenant laws, and take a closer look at several potential scenarios. At the end if you take and pass a brief exam you will earn a certificate of completion.
