FHF-Criminal History Screening and Disparate Impact 2022

In this course we will examine some of the biggest mistakes and misconceptions surrounding criminal history screening. Using practical examples we will discuss local laws and ordinances, considerations for building a criminal history policy, exceptions and processing appeals, disparate impact vs. treatment, lookback periods, communicating with prospects, and third party screening policies.  At the end you will take a brief exam that will earn you a certificate of completion.
